Parish Organizations
Altar and Rosary Society
The purpose of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Altar & Rosary Society is to praise and honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, and to secure her patronage by the recitation of the Rosary before our monthly meetings. We are an organization of women who support our Priests and our parish by maintaining the cleanliness of the interior of the Church and Sanctuary, cleaning and maintaining the Altar Linens and Frontals, purchasing the Sunday Altar flowers and Feast Day flowers, and maintaining the Vestments and Cassocks for our Priests. We hold our meetings, preceded by a communal Rosary, on the first Saturday of the month after the 8:30 AM Mass.
For more information see the parish bulletin or contact the parish secretary.
Choir and Schola
“Be ye doers of the word and not just hearers.” These words of Our Lord should ring in every Catholic’s ears. When we participate at Mass this is one way to be doers of the word. An even greater way is to sing, either as a parish or in the choir. In comparison to the doers and hearers are the music listeners and the music makers. Music listeners are people who hear the works and recordings of others and are satisfied with that; music makers are people who sing but not just once in a while. The music makers dedicate their lives to song, even if that’s not their job. They don’t let life’s little circumstances get in the way of making music, they sing and offer it up to the glory of God. It seems pretty obvious that God wants us to be music makers, if not as a choir member then certainly as a parishioner.
The choir is looking for new members! Please consider joining us. Contact our music director, Rick Wheeler at: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Daughters of Our Lady of Grace
Daughters of Our Lady of Grace is group for girls ages 6-12 years. We meet every third Saturday of the month from 8:15AM until 12:15PM. We attend Mass, pray the Rosary, enjoy a tea-party, develop our singing skills, and spend time learning a domestic, homemaking skill. For more information see the parish bulletin or contact the parish secretary.
Knights of Columbus
As faithful Catholics, we are called to be salt and light in this material world. As traditional Catholics within the Church Universal, we are some times called, in charity, to bring more illumination and flavor to our fellow Catholics. Pope Benedict XVI is showing us the way. Let us join with him in spreading the message within the Knights of Columbus.
For more information see the parish bulletin or contact the parish secretary.
Legion of Mary
Meets every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m in parish hall. More information is located in the breezeway.

OLMC Homeschoolers
We are a group of homeschool families who come together to share with and support one another spiritually and socially as we strive to educate our children in the home. We meet every First Friday after the 8:30am Mass for a spiritual talk, Confessions and social activities.
For more information see the parish bulletin or contact the parish secretary.
St. Anne’s Quilters
St. Anne’s Quilters is a group of quilters who give baby quilts to the new mothers of our parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. We teach beginning quilters how to quilt, including teaching the young girls in the Daughters of Our Lady of Grace how to sew a doll or lap quilt. We also help quilters of all experience levels with their quilting projects. We donate quilted items to the Altar & Rosary Society Craft and Bake Sale every December. A particular goal of St. Anne’s Quilters is to sew quilts for charity groups in the local area, such as the National Guard, Veterans families, Nursing Homes, Caring Pregnancy Centers and other deserving charities.
